Sending bug reports, questions and suggestions are valuable feedback and contributions to the project. If done correctly you stand a good chance of getting an answer quickly and your feedback will help improve the quality of the software. Thanks in advance.

If you have questions about Exiv2, please write to the Exiv2 Yahoo! group. Join the group to post and receive messages or login with exiv2post/2post2exiv2 to post without registration.

Writing to the group is better than writing to me only, as it allows others to discuss an issue and supply answers which I wouldn't be able to give. Also, other users can later find these answers in the forum without having to ask again. The anonymous user is provided to make it easy for you to contribute a one-off post. As a matter of courtesy, please state your name or a nickname by which you'd like to be addressed if you use it.

If you found a bug, and you're reasonably sure that it really is a bug (e.g., if the exiv2 utility crashes), then you should submit it directly to the bug tracking system.
